We were kind of busy working the crowd at this year’s Spring Activities Fair, so we only captured this one photo of Justin Haring and Kevin Drees warming up before the hoo-hah began.

Thursday, June 12.  Dear Members.  Shihan & Zohreh Sensei expressed their appreciation for your helping with our Spring Seminar, May 31 – June 1.  Your willingness to offer assistance and your attention to detail were duly noted.  Thanks so much.

We have now tentatively scheduled a Fall Seminar for the weekend of October 11, 12.  Discussion with AikiMN dojo over the Summer, as well as anticipation of tasks & fundraising will be our job for the next months.

Summer is a time of sporadic attendance, so please, if you know you are NOT coming to practice, drop me an email or cell phone message. (plpkriley@usfamily.net, 651-308-8219.)  However, those who do attend can be promised more jo, boken & advanced technique for their troubles.

This coming week, Tu 6/17, I will be working.  Th 6/19 I will be driving to Wisconsin.  Sat 6/21 I will be visiting folks in Madison.  So, my next class will be Tu 6/24.  See you then.

Yours,

Patrick, aka Sensei

Spring Seminar, and ahead.

Dear Members, Yeah, I finally figured out how to post to this site.

So, all congratulations to another very pleasant hosting of a Seminar.  Shihan & Zohreh were pleased and pass on their thanks.  No glaring criticisms at this point. It was extremely rewarding to have John, Kevin & Luan test, giving testimony to hard work and continued practice.

Their is a Fall Seminar in the works. Shihan has tentatively agreed to the weekend of Oct 17, 18 & 19.  With June half gone, Fall Semester starting a month before, this Seminar will come up fairly quickly.  Test candidates should declare in August.  Thoughts about fund-raising and publicity should flesh out here soon. Other than that, let’s practice! I promise all the interesting material I can put out.

Again, thanks for all your enthusiastic participation. Take care.
